Warp 9 Technologies recently announced its partnership with MindSpring Enterprises to provide local consumer Internet service with nationwide access and 24-hour customer support. Warp 9 Technologies will focus on online commerce with their Warp 9 Internet Commerce Solution (ICS).

Jon Lei, CEO of Warp 9 Technologies, stated that the partnership would allow Warp 9 Technologies to dedicate its energies to Internet business applications. The ICS enables business to put their product catalogues on the Internet providing their customers with a constant storefront access. The ICS also provides an extensive back-end system to handle distribution and catalog management.

Warp 9 Technologies also offers business Internet services through their subsidiary company, SBnet. Services include business dial-up accounts, virtual domain web hosting, frame relay packages, and co-location services.

Several Santa Barbara based businesses, including The Territory Ahead (www.territoryahead.com) and Magellan International Travel Corporation (www.magellans.com), have successfully utilized the Warp 9 ICS to target new clients and continue excellent service to existing clients. As Mr. Lei explains, "with the Internet Commerce Solution, companies are able to significantly increase their client base by tapping into the Internet's mass market."
